I've been bouncing from place to place for the last couple of years, including studying at Huddersfield Uni, but when I heard about what was going on at hpc I decided to stick in Leeds and contribute to the growing community. I love a deep chat over a cup of coffee and getting my head around big life questions, and that is one of the main parts I get to play as the Student Worker at hpc.

I look after all of the practical things at Church at Hyde Park Corner, making sure our events go as planned, and that we can meet together on Sundays in a comfortable space with great food! I was a student in Wakefield studying Live Events Production and I graduated just two years ago.

I am a graduate from York St John and Durham Uni where I studied philosophy and theology. I am new to Leeds but have loved getting to know this city! I am a trainee vicar, and I’ll be here to help out at hpc - I love a good coffee shop and any excuse for a cuppa and am always around for a chat to any who need it.

I’m the vicar here at hpc, which means I’m part of the leadership team of the church. I did my MA in theology at Manchester University, and a PGCE at Huddersfield, and then spent twenty years in London working with students in Higher Education. It’s now my fourth year here in Leeds, where I live with my wife Sue, and we have four children and two grandchildren.
